David Ciminello M.D.

Greetings!

My name is Dr. David Ciminello and I completed the pediatric residency program at Phoenix Children's Hospital.  I am excited to be a part of Pueblo Pediatrics and working with Dr. Chiles and Dr. Salek.

After living the first ten years of my life in Columbus, Ohio, my family relocated to Phoenix.  I spent the better part of my childhood in the valley, until leaving to attend St. Mary's College, where I received a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology.   While at St. Mary's, I volunteered at Children's Hospital in Oakland, where I realized that my childhood dream of becoming a doctor was definitely the right career path!  However after graduating, I needed to take some time off, so I moved to Washington DC., where I spent one year doing research at the National Institute of Child Health and Human development.  It was a great experience, but I knew that I needed to get back to what I loved... Medicine!   I then moved to White River Junction, Vermont;  and spent four years at Dartmouth Medical School earning my MD.  It was a wonderful experience, but after four winters of below-freezing weather, and being 3000 miles away from my family, I knew it was time to come back home.

I chose PCH knowing that I wanted to settle in Phoenix, and ultimately work as a community physician in the area.

When I'm not working, I like to read, participate in ANY sporting activity (but especially baseball, basketball, golf, and swimming), travel the world, cook, practice the under appreciated art of juggling, and spend time photographing nature.

I look forward to caring for the many families in the Pueblo Pediatrics practice.
